The founder of Bishan R. Shah & Co. has been practicing as a CA for more than 20 years now. As a veteran of the trade and a man with a clear vision, he is a member of several committees and a regular consultant to various corporate organizations and has appeared on television channels to discuss GST. He was the chairman of Indirect Taxes committee of Ahmedabad Branch of WIRC of ICAI for the year 2015-16. In addition to delivering more than 100 lectures on GST and advising many businesses on the same, Bishan has written several articles on various topics of GST. He is the Management Committee Head and Treasurer of ICAI, Ahmedabad and a Special Invitee and member of Indirect Taxes Committee of ICAI, New Delhi. Along with being a Visiting Faculty for indirect taxes at Nirma University, Bishan is also a Finance Committee member at Sports Club of Gujarat. His precise knowledge of the trade and the eagerness to maintain transparency with his clients make him a worthy asset. He has delivered several lectures at Service Tax Commission, Ahmedabad, and Excise department on topics like Service Tax & Service Tax Audit in the past. His other professional credentials are DRIM (ICAI) – Diploma in Insurance & Risk Management & DISA (ICAI) – Diploma in Information and Systems Audit.
